Jessica is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist who earned a Master’s Degree in Depth Psychology with a Somatic Studies Specialization and spent a year in the same Ph.D. program before pivoting to earn a second Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pacifica Graduate Institute. Additionally, Jessica is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy); IFS (Internal Family Systems Therapy); Mindfulness (Evidence-based awareness practice); ITATP (Trauma & Addiction Therapy); and Executive Coaching (C-suite & HNWI). Jessica earned her Bacherlor’s Degree from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA.
Jessica spent five years as a Program Director at a private sector treatment center overseeing individual treatment plans and working collaboratively with psychiatry, neuropsychological evaluation, OCD protocols (ACT & ERP), family members, and crisis management. She did two years of clinical training at Beit T'Shuvah Residential Treatment Center. Jessica spent three years as a Senior Producer for a media company where she personally interviewed thought leaders Dr. Dan Siegel (Mindsight Institute), Dr. Shefali Tsbary (Conscious Parenting), and Dr. Peter Levine (Somatic Experiencing); as well as Geena Davis (Institute on Gender in Media). She spent years in bespoke parent coaching for new mothers in the entertainment industry. Jessica has taught workshops on college campuses including Pitzer College & Loyola Marymount. She was a weekly writer for Mothering Magazine as well as a member of their Ask An Expert panel for three years. Her clinical research has been published in The Therapist Magazine, Huffington Post, and included in a New Harpinger publication. She has co-led communication workshops with Sheryl Finn (The Conscious Bride) and Hala Khouri (Peace From Anxiety); as well as for Pediatrics on Montana.
Jessica comes from a patrilineage of multigenerational business and a matrilineage steeped in the entertainment industry. She is a 4th generation Californian married to a New Yorker with an understanding of the nuances of both coasts. She has raised children through the college years and intimately understands the complexities of family life.
